By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing the game, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game or website.

2. Definitions
"Game" means Veles: Rise of the Damned, including its software, updates, content, features, user interface, online services, saves, leaderboards, and related materials. "Website" means velesrotd.com. "Services" means the Game, Website, accounts, cloud save features, leaderboards, support, and any related online systems.
3. Eligibility and Parents
You must be old enough under the laws of your country to use online game services. The Services are not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf. Parents and guardians are responsible for a minor's use of the Services.
4. License to Use the Game
The Game is licensed, not sold. If you comply with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the Game on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial entertainment. We and our licensors keep all ownership rights in the Game and Services.
5. License Restrictions
Except where applicable law expressly allows it, you may not copy, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, modify, translate, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, derive source code from, create derivative works from, or exploit the Game or Services. You may not remove legal notices, bypass technical protection measures, or use the Game or Services in a way that is not expressly allowed by these Terms.
6. Accounts, Security, and Verification Codes
Some features may require an account, email verification code, device identifier, internet connection, cloud save, leaderboard, or similar online service. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account access secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account or device. 7. Online Features and Service Availability
Online features may be interrupted, limited, changed, or discontinued. We may suspend or disable features for maintenance, updates, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, platform requirements, or service changes. We are not required to provide any particular online feature forever.
8. Updates, Patches, and Balance Changes
We may patch, update, rebalance, modify, add, or remove Game content, systems, abilities, items, enemies, levels, saves, leaderboards, scores, or other features. Some updates may be required to keep using online features. Changes may affect gameplay, progression, virtual items, scores, or compatibility.
9. Fair Play and Acceptable Use
You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate saves, interfere with leaderboards, use bots, hacks, automation, unauthorized clients, unauthorized third-party tools, memory editors, packet tools, private servers, emulators of online services, or software that changes or facilitates gameplay in an unauthorized way.
You also agree not to attack, overload, scrape, data mine, disrupt, reverse engineer, intercept, or bypass the Game, Website, API, or service security; impersonate others; harass or threaten anyone; use the Services for unlawful activity; sell accounts, boosts, scores, saves, items, or progression; or assist others in doing any of these things.
10. Virtual Items, Scores, and Progress
Game progress, items, components, currencies, achievements, unlocks, leaderboard entries, run history, characters, abilities, and similar features are part of the Game experience. They do not have real-world cash value, are not your property, are not banked value, and are not redeemable for money or anything of monetary value. We may change, rebalance, reset, suspend, remove, or correct them, including when needed to fix bugs, address cheating, protect the service, or update the Game.
11. Purchases, Storefronts, and Refunds
If the Game or optional content is offered through Steam, the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another storefront, purchases, billing, taxes, refunds, subscriptions, family sharing, and payment disputes are handled by that storefront under its own terms and policies. We do not receive your full payment card details from those storefronts. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or cancellation rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
12. Pre-Release, Test, and Demo Versions
We may offer demos, beta builds, test versions, previews, or other pre-release access. These versions may be incomplete, unstable, changed substantially, reset, discontinued, or removed. Progress, scores, saves, unlocks, and purchases in pre-release versions may not carry over to later versions unless we expressly say otherwise.
13. User Content, Support Messages, and Feedback
If the Services allow you to submit names, leaderboard entries, messages, bug reports, screenshots, feedback, suggestions, or other content, you are responsible for what you submit. You must have the rights needed to submit it, and it must not be unlawful, infringing, abusive, misleading, or harmful.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, modify, use, and share submitted content as needed to operate, moderate, support, promote, and improve the Services. If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.
14. Intellectual Property
The Game, Website, artwork, characters, names, music, code, design, text, logos, data, systems, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property and other laws. No rights are granted except for the limited license described in these Terms.
15. Health and Safety
The Game may include flashing lights, visual effects, rapid movement, repeated actions, intense combat, or other content that may affect some players. Stop playing and seek medical advice if you experience dizziness, eye strain, nausea, seizures, repetitive strain, or other discomfort.
16. Enforcement and Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the Game and discontinuing use of the Website and online features. We may warn, suspend, restrict, reset, delete, or terminate access to the Services if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk or harm, used the Services unlawfully, or interfered with fair play or service integrity.
After termination, your license to use the Game and Services ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute provisions, will survive.
17. Third-Party Services
The Services may link to, integrate with, or be distributed through third-party platforms, storefronts, social media, hosting providers, email providers, or other services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
18. Disclaimers
The Game and Website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, and preservation of every save, score, account, or online feature.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, gameplay progress, virtual items, scores, account access, or service availability arising from your use of or inability to use the Game, Website, or Services.
20. Informal Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern, contact us first at info@velesrotd.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Include your contact email, a description of the issue, and what you would like us to do. These Terms do not include a binding arbitration clause or class action waiver. Those provisions can have significant legal consequences and should only be added after legal review.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Game, Website, laws, platform requirements, or business needs change. When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Game, Website, or Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
